Gas production facility

Platform voor gasproductie in de Noordzee

Wintershall Noordzee has awarded a contract for a gas production facility. The platform comprises of 8 wells, gas/liquid separation, water treatment, condensate and chemical injection facilities as well as provisions for future compression.

The separated condensate is re-injected in the export pipeline. The separated water is treated to overboard specification. Power generation, potable water, fire fighting and cooking water utility systems are provided. The platform is normally manned and is equipped with living quarters for 24 people, a control room, laboratory and workshops.

In order to facilitate the installation of future compression trains at main deck level, various provisions such as suction/interstage scrubbers including associated piping and valves are pre-installed.

Iv-Oil & Gas has performed the design and detailed engineering and the procurement for the topside facilities.
